When tackling hills and inclines, a generous gearing range is more important than ever on a tandem. The Periscope Scout’s alloy triple crankset and wide range rear cassette offer a less-than 1-to-1 gear ratio for climbing steep inclines. The Periscope Scout features Shimano’s 10-speed Deore derailleurs and RapidFire trigger-style shifters, boasting easy operation.
The back seater’s (or, stoker’s) handlebar and stem are adjustable, including a telescoping feature for simple adjustments. Upfront, an alloy handlebar and stem add an upright fit for relaxed riding.
