Haibike is a family run business, with Felix, often known as Mr Haibike, his wife Susanne and their daughter, who has recently returned from launching Haibike in the USA.

Haibike is owned by Winora AG, which is part of the Dutch Accell Group, the biggest bike company in Europe.

Designed and manufactured in Schweinfurt, Germany, Haibike invented the Electric Mountain Bike (eMTB) in 2009 and are “widely regarded as the Market Leaders”

SRAM and Bosch are also co-located with Haibike, enabling close co-operation with leading component suppliers. Haibike have offered the Bosch Crankdrive Motor since 2010 and now also offer the Yamaha motor. Haibike’ are finished by hand and then tested on real-life terrain.

Working closely with Guido Tschugg, a Red Bull Rampage rider, Haibike constantly evolve and tune the geometry and componentry of all their eMTB’s. It’s the level of integration and attention to detail that enables Haibike to stay ahead of the competition.

With the largest range of all Electric Bike manufacturers, the range now extends to over 50 models and includes, Road, Trekking, Cross and of course the eMTB’s for which they are world-famous.
